We are looking ahead to the extraordinary growth forecast for Western Sydney while we also transform to a modern grid, combining traditional and renewable energy sources to deliver affordable, innovative services and greater energy choice for our customers.
To develop a new Regualtory Proposal, we have established a Regulatory Reference Group (RRG) of key stakeholders to co-design our engagement program and to co-design our Proposal, challenging us to acheive a customer-focused outcome.
Endeavour Energy welcomes participation from the broadest possible spectrum of customers and interested stakeholders as we work towards the submission of a customer-focused Proposal to the AER in January 2023.
There are many opportunities to participate, engage and provide your insights, including deliberative forums, stakeholder deep dives, customer surveys and online engagement on this website. Please register to follow this site for opportunities to have your say, as well as for updates on our Proposal.

The Regulatory Reset
Every five years, electricity distribution networks like Endeavour Energy are required to submit a Regulatory Proposal to the Australian Energy Regulator(External link) (AER) that details our plans to deliver your power supply, including investments in building and maintaining the network, customer service and proposed tariffs. The AER considers that Proposal and makes a determination on the revenue we can recover to fund our network plans.
Our current regulatory period ends on 30 June 2024, and we have started planning for the upcoming five-year period starting 1 July 2024 and running until to 30 June 2029.

Customer Engagement Plan
CALLING ALL CUSTOMERS: We are moving into a new phase of broad customer engagement as we develop plans to invest in our customers’ energy future. We invite our customers to tell us what they want from their energy network, and we are pleased to share our Customer Engagement Plan to help customers get involved at every possible opportunity across our regulatory engagement program.

Customer Panel - please register to join and have your say!
Are you interested in sharing your views on energy services in your local area? We’re developing our plans for the future and would love for you to join our Customer Panel so you can have your say!
Our Customer Panel will bring together around 90 residential and small business customers who will be broadly representative of all of those who live in our network area. Participation in the Customer Panel is expected to take about 15 hours in total and will involve joining online forums on five Wednesday evenings between May and September. You will also need to log on to our online engagement platform from time to time to keep to the conversation going. Participating customers will be reimbursed for their time.
The Customer Panel’s views will be critical in informing development of our five year pricing and service plan. Network resilience joint engagement
Endeavour Energy is working with other energy distributors to understand what we need to do to make eletricity networks resilient to disruptive events (including the effects of climate change or cyber attacks). Register to participate in a joint forum on 8 February 2022 to discuss what network resilience means to you, or make a submission on our collaboration paper, which you can find here.

Early customer insights
Endeavour Energy asked residential and small to medium business customers about their priorities and preferences for their energy service. For the first time ever, we also conducted focus group research in language, asking Vietnamese residents and Assyrian business owners about their expectations for energy in language.
